FAQ
Pricing and billing questions.
Everything you would ask before entering a card number.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
+
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You enter a payment method at checkout so the workspace can be provisioned, but you are not charged until day 15. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. The trial includes the full feature set of the plan you selected — there are no locked features during the trial.
When am I charged for the first time?
+
Your first charge happens on day 15, exactly 14 days after you complete checkout. The charge equals the monthly plan price in USD ($49 Starter, $199 Growth, $499 Pro) plus any takedown overage you accrued during the trial. After that, billing renews monthly on the same calendar day.
Do you store my payment information?
+
No. DSP Watch never sees or stores card numbers. Payment is processed by Stripe in PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure. We store only the Stripe customer ID and subscription ID, which let us look up your billing status without ever touching card data.
What happens if I exceed my monitored-track ceiling?
+
Nothing breaks. Scans keep running across your full catalog. Any takedown you file beyond your plan's ceiling is billed at $1 per filed takedown, added to your next monthly invoice as a usage line item. You can view live overage usage on the billing page inside the app and upgrade plans at any time to lock in a lower per-track unit cost.
Can I cancel anytime?
+
Yes. Cancel from the billing page in the dashboard in two clicks — no email, no retention call. If you cancel during the 14-day trial, you owe nothing. If you cancel after, the subscription stays active until the end of your current paid month, then closes; we never auto-renew a cancelled subscription.
Is the price in US dollars?
+
Yes. All three plans are billed in USD: Starter $49/month, Growth $199/month, Pro $499/month. Overage takedowns are billed at $1 USD each. Stripe handles currency conversion if your card is issued outside the US, at the prevailing card-network rate. We do not currently offer EUR or GBP pricing.
Do you offer an annual discount?
+
Yes — annual billing saves 16% versus paying monthly (about two months free per year). Annual plans are not yet self-serve in checkout; for now, contact us and we will issue an annual invoice with the discount applied. Self-serve annual billing is on the M3 roadmap.
What payment methods do you accept?
+
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners) via Stripe Checkout, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported by your browser. For Pro-tier annual contracts we can also accept ACH transfer or wire — contact us to set that up.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
+
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe pro-rates the difference, so you only pay for the days remaining in the cycle at the new rate. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle so you keep the higher plan's features until you have paid through them.
Do you offer a refund if I am not happy?
+
The 14-day free trial is our refund policy: try the product for two weeks, charged nothing. If something breaks after you have paid, contact support — we issue prompt refunds for clear billing errors, service outages, or stuck takedown deliveries. We do not offer a blanket money-back guarantee beyond the trial because you have already had two weeks to evaluate at no cost.
